Product:  StrikeIron™ Web Services Analyzer

Discover, invoke and understand any Web service in just a few clicks!
Category:  XML Web Services
Details:  The StrikeIron Web Services Analyzer provides a powerful solution for discovering, invoking and understanding any Web service. With the Analyzer, the data structures, data requirements, behavior and results of a Web service can be determined with minimal effort and time.

The Analyzer is the first in a series of products based on StrikeIron's ground-breaking Web Services Business Object™ (WSBO) technology. WSBO allows users to combine multiple Web services with added business rules and logic that can then be integrated into common business applications like Microsoft ® Office, SAP and PeopleSoft.

The Analyzer is based on Web services industry standards that allow it work with any Web service on any platform. Some of the Analyzer's most compelling features and benefits are:
  • Dynamically invokes a Web service (no compiling required) with experimental values to enable a user to understand a Web service’s applicability and value to a given business situation. This eliminates the frustration of pouring through hard-to-read XML documents to discover the expected behavior of a Web service.
  • Provides easy-to-read details of any Web service in a tree structure that includes data requirements and execution results.
  • Reduces implementation time by quickly providing important operational details on any Web service.
  • Allows the data from Web services to be available to other software applications such as Microsoft® Excel.
  • Allows viewing of WSDL and SOAP Messages in their native formats for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Runs multiple Web services in batch mode.
  • Provides a rich set of tools for supporting Web services development efforts.
  • Includes a live, shared Knowledge Base that provides detailed information on frequently used Web services.
  • Contains an integrated UDDI Browser for Web services discovery, including the ability to add an unlimited number of UDDI sites.
  • Includes a preview of the StrikeIron Web Services Scheduler that allows a series of Web services to be invoked at specific times with experimental values. This feature allows batch execution scheduling, Web services availability monitoring, and transaction, stress and regression testing.
