Republica Corp. is a leading provider of XML based products and services for efficient application integration and information exchange. Republica develops horizontal XML technology based on open architecture, offers vertical applications, and carries out customized software projects based on the X-Fetch technology, and third party software applications.
Since 1996 we have been in SGML and XML business, and thus have a strong expertise in XML. Republica is based in Finland and has offices in Helsinki and Jyväskylä.
Republica has two business units: X-Fetch Products and Information Services. Both of them concentrate on our customers' needs to deliver and receive high quality online business messages.

Agents are a significant part of Republica's software. Agents perform information gathering, processing and mediating tasks, and are powerful in automating processes, scheduling tasks and integrating information systems. The agents are defined with XAML (eXtensible Agent Modeling Language) developed by Republica.
We have developed several XML based languages to enable developing easy-to-use tools. Such meta-languages are e.g. XAML, DEL (Data Extraction Language), UCL (Unifier Control Language). These meta-languages provide short learning curve for Republica's products.
