The founders of deepX have worked with document markup and publishing technologies for many years and recognised the incredible potential of XML when it first emerged in 1997.
In 2000, deepX was established as a provider of vital services for the emerging XML market, with a view towards developing tools and products for XML, the Web and beyond.
Our professional services include XML Consultancy, Technical Training, Web site creation and maintenance and Electronic Publishing in a variety of formats to suit different media (Web, CD-ROM, eBooks).
deepX is currently working on a number of tools for XML, including experimental implementations of XML technologies and full applications to support emerging XML related standards. Some of these tools may eventually achieve public release.
One of our products, the XML Trainer Application is used in a number of our training courses and allows participants to gain practical experience using XML technologies. At present this application is available for evaluation by request only. This application would be of particular use to companies offering XML training courses. The deepX Trainer Application is used in most of our XML training courses. It provides an easy-to-use environment for creating and testing XML documents, XSL Transformations (XSLT) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). It's functionality includes XML validation as well as XSLT and CSS processing. With this application the user learns to generate electronic publications with XML, in accordance with the fundamental principle of separating content from presentational information.
