XMLdocs Editor is a Web-based tool for creating XML documents. Designed for non-technical authors, its intuitive user interface allows content contributors to author XML documents with little or no knowledge of XML. Editor has two authoring views, Normal View and XML View, and a previewer.
In Normal View, the complexity of XML is hidden. Users can create and edit XML documents using a word-processor-like interface with document templates. Placeholders are used to show where and what type of content can be entered. Features include image rendering from URLs, user-defined keyboard shortcuts, and dropdown selections for values that are restricted by the Schema.
Developers who like to see what's happening behind the scenes can easily jump into XML View where they will find a feature-full XML Editor and Validator, with color-coding, automatic tag closing, and debugging.
Preview allows authors to see how their documents will look when viewed in a browser. A document can be previewed against any number of XSL Transformations. |
